Terms of Service

1. Who We Are

These terms govern your use of services provided by Haj Tech.

By engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with an order.

2. Services

Haj Tech provides the following services:

• Website Security Health Check (£195) — external audit of your website and domain for publicly visible security issues, delivered within 5 working days with a plain-English report.
• Cyber Essentials Readiness Assessment (£495) — full gap analysis against all 5 NCSC Cyber Essentials controls, remediation plan, and support through to certification.
• Cyber Protect retainer (from £149/month) — monthly external vulnerability scan, plain-English report, staff phishing awareness material, and access for security queries.
• Client Communication Autopilot (£59/month + £99 setup) — a fully managed SMS reminder, review request and rebooking service for your clients, hosted and run by Haj Tech.
• Custom Automation Build (from £250) — a bespoke Python or n8n workflow built to your specification, with an optional care plan (from £39/month).

All quotes are provided in writing before work begins and are fixed at the quoted price unless the scope of work changes with your agreement.

3. Payment Terms

One-off services

One-off services (Website Security Health Check, Cyber Essentials Readiness, Custom Automation Build) are payable in full at the time of order via Stripe. Work begins once payment is confirmed.

Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscription services (Cyber Protect, Client Communication Autopilot, Automation Care Plan) are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Setup fees, where applicable, are charged at the time of sign-up.

Cancellation of subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with 30 days’ written notice to [email protected]. You will continue to receive service until the end of the notice period. No refund is made for the notice period.

4. Security Testing Authorisation

All security assessments (Website Security Health Check, Cyber Essentials Readiness, and any related scanning activities) are performed only on systems that the client owns or controls and only after the client has provided written authorisation in the form of a signed authorisation letter supplied by Haj Tech before any assessment begins.

By ordering a security assessment, you warrant that:

• you are the owner or authorised administrator of the systems to be assessed; and
• you have the authority to grant Haj Tech permission to assess those systems.

Haj Tech will not commence any assessment without a countersigned authorisation letter. If you provide false or misleading information regarding your authority, you accept full legal responsibility for any consequences.

5. Scope and Limitations

Reports and assessments delivered by Haj Tech reflect the condition of your systems at the time of assessment. Security is not a static state; new vulnerabilities emerge continuously, and Haj Tech makes no guarantee that systems will remain secure after the date of assessment.

The Website Security Health Check is an external, non-intrusive audit of publicly visible information. It is not a penetration test and does not guarantee identification of all security issues.

The Cyber Essentials Readiness Assessment is a preparatory evaluation. Haj Tech is not an IASME-accredited certification body and does not issue official Cyber Essentials certificates. The assessment is designed to prepare you for the official certification process.

No service provided by Haj Tech constitutes legal, regulatory, or professional advice. Reports and deliverables are provided for informational purposes only.

6. Delivery

Delivery timescales are stated per service and begin once payment is confirmed and all required information has been provided by you. Haj Tech will notify you promptly if any delay is anticipated.

7. Consumer Cancellation Rights

If you are a consumer (an individual acting outside your trade, business, craft or profession), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of placing it under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, without giving a reason.

If you request that work begins during the 14-day cancellation period and you subsequently cancel, you will be charged for the proportion of the service completed up to the point of cancellation. If the service is fully completed during the 14-day period at your request, you lose your right to cancel.

Businesses and sole traders engaging Haj Tech services in connection with their trade or business do not benefit from these consumer cancellation rights.

8. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, you receive full rights to use the reports, automations and other deliverables produced for you for your own business purposes.

Haj Tech retains ownership of general methodologies, tooling, and non-client-specific code used in producing deliverables. We may reuse these in future projects.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haj Tech’s total liability to you in connection with any service shall be limited to the fees paid by you to Haj Tech in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Haj Tech shall not be liable for any:

• indirect, consequential, incidental or special loss;
• loss of profits, revenue, data or business;
• loss arising from reliance on reports or deliverables by third parties.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits Haj Tech’s liability for: fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; death or personal injury caused by negligence; or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Data and Privacy

Haj Tech processes your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Where Haj Tech processes personal data on behalf of your business (for example, your clients’ contact details in the Client Communication Autopilot service), a data processing agreement will be provided.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version applying to your order is the version in force at the time you place that order. We will notify existing subscription customers of material changes with at least 30 days’ notice.
